This study examines research trends in modern Chinese linguistics following the emergence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and explores future research directions. Taking the release of ChatGPT in late 2022 as a turning point, it analyzes 63 academic articles published in Korea between 2023 and 2025. The dataset consists of studies directly or indirectly related to generative AI within Chinese linguistics. The findings show that AI-related research is concentrated in Chinese language education, translation, corpus linguistics, and text mining. In particular, studies utilizing ChatGPT for teaching and learning have increased rapidly. The research focus has shifted from structure-oriented analysis to dynamic approaches emphasizing language generation and meaning construction. Methodologically, there is a transition from observation-based research to experimental and data-driven approaches. New research areas such as AI translation error analysis, prompt engineering, and personalized feedback have emerged. These changes indicate that Chinese linguistics is developing into an interdisciplinary field integrating AI technologies. This study provides empirical evidence of structural changes in the field. It also emphasizes the need for new theoretical and methodological frameworks. The findings offer important implications for future research in the era of generative AI.

본고는 생성형 인공지능의 등장 이후 현대 중국어학 분야에서 나타나는 연구 동향 을 분석하고 향후 연구 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히 2022년 ‘ChatGP T’ 공개를 기점으로 2023년부터 2025년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 63편의 관련 논문 을 분석 대상으로 설정하였다. 분석 결과, AI 관련 연구는 ‘중국어 교육, 번역, 코퍼 스 및 텍스트마이닝’ 분야에 집중되는 경향을 보였으며, ChatGPT 기반 교수·학습 연 구의 급격한 증가와 함께 연구 주제가 다변화되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 기존의 구조 중심 연구에서 벗어나 언어 생성 과정과 의미 해석을 중시하는 동적 연구로의 전환도 나타났으며, 연구 방법 역시 관찰 중심에서 실험 및 데이터 기반 분석으로 변화하는 양상을 보였다. 이를 기반으로 본고는 생성형 AI 시대 중국어학 연구의 구 조적 변화를 실증적으로 제시하고 향후 발전 방향을 모색하였다.
