This study examines the educational significance of the Ulsan Green Link program, a region-based Korean–Chinese youth exchange initiative, focusing on public diplomacy-related perceptions, value-related perceptions, intentions for future participation and practice, and the educational implications of experiential learning. A qualitative case study was conducted using a pre-program needs survey (n = 87), program records, and participant feedback. The findings show that, during the program, participants connected issues related to sustainability and public diplomacy with concrete contexts, while collaborative interactions between Korean and Chinese youth provided opportunities for shared learning. The processes of collaboration and interaction also revealed perceptions related to functional, emotional, and social values, as well as intentions for future participation and practice. These findings suggest that the Green Link program, which combines regionbased experiential learning with international exchange, has the potential to serve as an educational practice model connecting public diplomacy and sustainability education.

본 연구는 한국과 중국 청년이 함께 참여한 Green Link 프로그램 사례를 통해 참 여 과정에서 나타난 공공외교 관련 인식, 가치 관련 인식 및 향후 참여와 실천 의향 의 양상을 분석하였다. 질적 사례 연구 방법을 적용하였으며, 사전 수요조사(n=87), 프로그램 운영 기록, 참여자 피드백 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 프로그램 참여 과정에서는 지속가능성 및 공공외교 관련 문제를 구체적 맥락과 연결하여 이해하는 양상이 나타났으며, 한･중 청년 간 협력과 상호작용을 통한 공동 학습 경험이 나타 났다. 또한 협력과 상호작용 과정에서는 기능적･감정적･사회적 가치와 관련된 인식 과 향후 참여 및 실천 의향이 나타났다. 본 연구는 지역 자원을 활용한 체험학습과 국제교류를 연계한 Green Link 프로그램이 공공외교와 지속가능성 교육을 연결하는 교육적 실천 모델로 활용될 가능성을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
